                  You should. I enjoy using it. It just takes a long time to render a fractal once you get it to the form you want for picture. I think this one took like 30 mins to do.

                                  Yep, but it's not too bad. You are still able to do other stuff while it's rendering. I know with 3dmax to render a scene I couldn't touch my computer if it was fairly complicated.

                                    Apophysis is pretty good. The fractal foundation has some free software out, but it's not really all that good. You have less control and the colors aren't as great.

                                                I'm still fairly new with it so my fractals aren't very complicated. Still, I like them. I always make sure I delete the flame file after I'm done, that way I could never make two of a kind.

                                                                        Yeah...How about the Preview option when you're choosing your screensaver? I guess that wouldn't work if you have to use some other utility to set it as screensaver, though...
